When the original manufacturer discontinues the part, the plant does not get to stop. We measure what is installed, redesign what has to change, and fit a current device into an obsolete cubicle.
A discontinued 3AH5424-2 breaker replaced by a current 3AE5324-2, with mechanical and busbar redesign so the new device fits the existing truck and cubicle. Drawing 9489-ING-DI-201 on file, dimensioned 1288 x 636 x 580 mm, with the SolidWorks assembly of the original truck.

Commissioning of two SINAMICS Perfect Harmony GH180 drives at 4160 V on 945 HP medium-voltage motors, with load sharing tuned to a 1.4% torque difference.

We built switchgear under licence for fifteen years. We don't build under anyone's licence anymore — so we can tell you what your plant actually needs.
A Siemens Solution Partner cannot tell a client the problem is better solved with an ABB. We can. Giving up the manufacturing licence was not a loss: it is the asset. With no manufacturing licence there is no conflict of interest in a multi-brand retrofit — the recommendation follows the plant, not a catalogue. A channel agreement bounded to one domain is a different thing, and it is named as such: in the Power Quality Division of MR — Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen — the team was the authorised distributor in Bolivia, and delivered with MR the 69 kV / 30 MVAR capacitor bank with damping reactors at CRE's Urubó substation, in service since November 2016. That agreement was bounded to one domain: reactive compensation. Not switchgear, not drives, not control.
We know this equipment from the inside because we used to build it.
The team built and ran the only Siemens-licensed switchgear plant in Bolivia: SIMOPRIME cells and SIVACON S8 assemblies, with its own laser cutting, CNC folding and electrostatic paint, and witnessed factory acceptance tests. It held a PI Competence Center accreditation from PROFIBUS & PROFINET International for Bolivia, and ran an ISO 9001:2015 certified operation from 2017 to 2020, certificate 01 10006 1629860, TÜV Rheinland.
FEPROM Solutions SRL operated in Bolivia from 2009 to 2024 — a licensed manufacturing plant, ISO 9001, work in nine countries. It closed. The team and the judgement continue from the United States as Business Kuve LLC, now without a manufacturer's licence and therefore free to recommend any brand. South America is where this came from. The United States is where it works now.
